Dear readers,
I just read an article which is indeed a true story written by a writer for the New Yorker. It's about a journey of a mother who lost her baby before he came to this world. I read this article through my RSS feeds and it touched my heart so bad that I thought I should share it so other reading lovers, specially who like true stories like me, can read.
Please give this article a look because it makes us realize that how important we are to our parents and honestly it will make you feel like they are twice more important to you than you are to them.
All you need to do is to realize and to give them the love they want.

A website called the guardian.com is added to my RSS and today through that website I read a really emotional and a heart touching story. The writer send his old parents to a old age home and he narrates each and every thing why he sent them and what happened after sending them to the old home age. This might be moral able that how much care should we take while selecting the old home age where we are going to send our parents.
This story touched my heart and whoever reads this please give it a look and share it as many people as you can is that they never made that mistake which the writer of this story made. He published his story online so no one would never repeat this mistake again so please do not hesitate to share.

I just got started with RSS and I am enjoying it!
Through the website of http://www.oldagehomes.org/pakistan.html, which I added to my RSS yesterday I came to know that there are different kinds of nursing homes in Pakistan like Old Age Home, Old Age Hostel, Senior Citizen Hostel, Senior Citizen Home, Retirement Homes , Retirement Resorts, Care Home in Pakistan.
If someone works in a multi national company or uses to travel a lot and if they have old parents at home then instead of forcing them to leave home permanently , we can simply drop them at a old age hostel and we can pick them up again once we return to our place. This do not consumes much time and money. We should just make it sure that it is a trustable and authorized old age hostel. At old age hostels they provide them the comfort and care they need. And doing this isn't a cumbersome thing.
If you are worried about finding an old age hostel then visit www.oldagehomes.org and enter your location it will provide you the list of your nearest old age homes.

Get started with RSS feed and google alerts!
Before getting started with blogging I thought that I could not be a good writer and writing seemed an alien thing to me but as soon as I get started with it I am loving it. I started blogging nearly three months ago and I can feel the improvement in my writing skills. For all those blogs lovers like me who wanted to stay update with latest news regarding the topics we like to write on RSS and google alerts are most amazing, powerful and quick ways. We don't need to search for information any more it comes searching for us.
Today via RSS I came to know that Pakistan has recently been ranked the third-worst country for the elderly out of 91 countries, life expectancy in Pakistan has increased from 61 years in 1990 to 65 in 2011, but unfortunately the opportunities and facilities for older people are so poor (source link: http://tribune.com.pk/story/613550/old-and-miserable/). I want to use social media to let people know this. I found that they are so many people, so many organizations who are willing to help older people. But some proper planning and implementation needs to be done. Through my social media campaign for a social change I want to convey my message to whoever reads this that please first of all take care of your aged parents. Nothing can be more precious more than them and if you know some older people who are homeless or who are in need of any help we can help them by finding aids through social media. All I need is your strong support!

The warmth that parents bring into their children's lives from infancy to the age when they are grown up is so precious that no diamonds, no gold or any other worldly thing can be equal to its expensiveness. Nothing is much relaxing than a mothers lap and a dad's hug. Nothing is tastier than grandma's food and a grandpa's kiss. Mothers act like protectors and educators, dads who are coaches and life counselors are the biggest blessing one can ever have.
But what are we giving in return to them once we grow up? Why we forget the affection and care which they gave to us when we were in need of all that? Isn't that their need now? And isn't it our responsibility to provide the love and care which is their most desired need and wish at the time when they get old?
Unfortunately, it has became one of our social issues now a day that we are neglecting our parents and grand parents which compels them to leave home and head towards nursing homes. I used to be a volunteer at a nursing house in my country and I am looking forward to find such a place to volunteer here in USA as well. I have heard the stories of those old people who were being neglected at their homes and some of them were forced to leave their homes, not by any other strangers but only by their own children. Every time I listened to them all of them made me cry. It was so painful to know how much alone they feel. This all made them feel that no body loves them which resulted in mental frustration and other diseases as well.
Whenever I heard their painful stories it always made me wonder if I can do something for them. During my stay at the nursing home I used to try my best to cheer them up and I tried to make them feel how important they are. I have got so many precious moments from them that I will never forget. I felt so fortunate when I saw a beautiful smile on their face, for nothing can be more pleasant than being a reason for someone's smile.
Now I want to convey my message through social media to everyone, whoever read my blog that please take care of your parents and grand parents. They deserved to be loved and to be cared. You will get more affection and care in return. They put all possible efforts to turn our dreams into reality and when they grow old it becomes our responsibility to take care of them.
